Wavecade
Pros: Nice time manipulation mechanic, so much neon, ship cosmetics, satisfying explosions, good monetization, playable with one hand.
Cons: Too much stuff on screen at times, simple enemy designs, gets repetitive.
I’m not a big fan of shoot-em-ups but this one is a pleasure to play on occasion. It doesn’t really reinvent the wheel but it’s a solid game on its own with a couple different modes, co-op and a bunch of unlockable cosmetics. You can pay to remove ads and get a bunch of cosmetics but nothing that grants you any power from what I can tell.
